Now imagine if you knew how you could use those rules to your advantage and make the changes the way you feel and think about yourself positively...our workshops share those exact skills and knowledge really easily.

OUR ETHOS AND VALUES

Mental ill-health is something that we take seriously; however, we do it in a fun and engaging way. Individuals will have information and personal experiences that they will find it challenging to share. This means we will never ask someone to share anything they are not happy to do so - we are more interested in providing skills, knowledge and strategies for you beat your anxieties, negative thinking and depressions fast.

As Rotundus was started from a personal journey we know it can take a lot for those who attend so when you attend we value making a difference in the easiest and simplest ways using language that is appropriate to the subject and age of those attending. Mental ill-health sucks and we know it can be different, so hiding it will ultimately do no one any good.

FOR TEENS

Over the past few years, we are seeing an increase in the number of teenagers and young people being diagnosed with mental ill-health...

Is this because the world is becoming more stressful...or is it that the world is now ready to start talking about their mental ill-health as much as they do about their physical?

 

When someone is brave enough to share their difficult feelings and thoughts having someone to listen is brilliant. What would be even better is having someone who could help them to turn those negative thoughts and feelings of anxiety and depression around with ease?

Our workshops are designed to share powerful, yet easy to use and implement without the need of weeks, months or years of study. Our introduction workshops are just an hour - ideal for school PSHE lessons and they are packed with skills for everyone in the class. Through to full-day sessions in schools and within the community.

With our community workshops, we also run a parent and teens sessions so parents or significant adults can learn the same skills and knowledge at the same time to enable continual support and help.

DELIVERY WITH A DIFFERENCE.

 

Coming 2020 we will bring something special to these workshops that will make them unique, different and impacting.

 

Along with sharing the skills for personal use and to support others, we will be taking on board with us a number of teenagers and young people to upskill to deliver these workshops themselves with our support.

Teens and young people supporting other teens and young people - this is so powerful and amazing it will enable 1000's of more people to beat and control their thoughts and feelings.

When you attend any of our workshops you can expect a warm, friendly and understanding environment, because everyone there is or has been through a similar journey and experience. No one will ever ask you to share information that is hurtful or difficult...the workshop is designed for you to learn the skills without the need to share private and personal information.

The workshops are done with humour and fun enabling you to smile, relax and learn new skills and knowledge. The skill-sharing is done through self-practical practice allowing to experience them for firsthand and not just in theory.

Whatever the workshop length, they will be packed with as many real skills as possible in the time and you can take away with you handouts and information to remind you on how to use them.

FOR ADULTS

1 in 4 adults will experience mental ill-health in their life...is probably really everyone will at some point. Some have greater resilience and strategies for coping with it.

Now for the ones that are not so lucky to have learnt a series of skills and strategies they can spend years stuck in a negative loop of thoughts, feelings and depression.

Life can be different, just like everything else in life it is only if you know how or have the answer. This is where we come in...we can help you, your group, team or organisation to learn a set of skills with the knowledge to beat, change and control those negative thoughts and feelings.

You may think that after years of being the way you are is too difficult, if not impossible to change...after 30+ years of doing anxiety, negative thinking, suicidal thoughts and depression I learnt a new set of skills and knowledge and it changed my life.

These skills are easy to use and simple to do, yet they are so powerful in taking control of the unconscious mind and getting it to work for you in the way you truly want it to rather than what it thinks you want.

RANGE OF WORKSHOPS

 

From an introduction through to a two-day workshop we can deliver a range of sessions packed with skill, knowledge and strategies.

 

All our facilitators have personally used these strategies for themselves and now to support others sharing real-life experiences that are honest and open, making this no textbook learning.

 

Due to these experiences, all our sessions are friendly and warm allowing individuals to relax and to get the most out of the workshops.

We like to make the sessions as personable as possible so we tend to keep the sessions fairly small in numbers to prevent any undue feelings. You will be welcomed into a friendly environment, free from pressure to share information. The sessions are designed for you to learn skills through personal practical practice - meaning you can do them in the seat you are sat in without needing to come up. This gives you real, firsthand experience so you know how it feels to change your feelings by being in charge of your system.

We promise to pack out every session with as much information as the time allows maximising the skills you can learn. To ensure you can easily continue with the new skills learnt we will provide you with a full set of handouts and information to continue on your personal journeys.
