About The Event

Education has become one of the most pressurised environments seeing an increase in staff experiencing mental health problems and thoughts of leaving the profession. These pressures are cascading throughout the sector all the way through to the pupils.

With the forthcoming change to the curriculum for pupils aged 3-16 and the emphasis upon experience, including resilience to ensure positive mental and emotional well-being. This change alone is creating anxieties for educators - therefore if educators can develop their own range of resources, strategies and skills these can then be share across the setting.

The EXPLORE workshop is part of a series of workshops that allow those attending to develop a range of skills depending on pervious knowledge, skills and requirements.

This workshop is full of practical skills and strategies that allow individuals that attend with instantly useable skills with no additional expenditure from the school.

Outline of workshop

  • Understanding the unconscious mind - prime directives, communication model, filtering
  • Understanding anxiety
  • Skills and strategies for beating anxiety and negative thinking
  • Goal setting - towards vs away
  • Demonstration of NLP (neuro-lingistic programming) ring of excellence and changing the image

Additionally those who attend will also work on a personal level with their own anxieties, negative thinking and limiting beliefs allowing a deeper understanding of how powerful and simple the skills and strategies are too implenment.

Spaces are limited to just 6 - they will not be available for long as this workshop has been really popular in the past. Small groups allows for a more in-depth and focused learning experience

Ideal attendee:

This workshop is ideal for those with a role of supporting staff or pupil well-being and individuals who are personally experiencing anxieties, negative thinking and limiting beliefs. Those that attend will be taking part personally in practical skills - however no personal content needs to be shared.
