Paranoid Schizophrenia - now we have that out there let's talk about the human side of it. As soon as you read the first two words you created an image, thought and belief about what paranoid schizophrenia means to you.
My cousin Greig Beadle knows exactly what it means to him, for over 15 years he has been living with this mental health illness and all it comes with including medication, hospital, doctors, psychiatrists, support workers and most importantly his family and friends.
Greig has put his life and his experiences down on paper sharing very real and personal experiences to him; now living in Sheffield after many years of moving and living around the world he is sharing his real experiences with professionals lecturing at Sheffield University and support others suffering mental ill-health.
"This book is all about letting go of all of the bad times in my life and contains not only about the NHS, but it is also about my life, good and bad. There is no fiction, only my life experiences and observations. I'm I hope that this book will help people living with mental health illness, to know, there is a future. If one of these books helps a person then I've done my job. Staff, patients or public alike.
If you really want something badly enough you can do anything that you set your mind to. Big squeezes to my click, I hope that you are still on the mend. I always said that I should write a book and "Here it is!" I never thought that I could do it, but here it is. You are reading it."
